Woezoŋ (welcome) and Apke (thank you) for visiting our web site here at the African Cultural Resources Center.  Woezoŋ (wézon) and apké are in Ewé (Evé) – my native language that is spoken in my homeland, Togo, Ghana and Benin (West Africa).  As the ACRC’s Executive Director, I am very proud and excited about our upcoming projects.

My goal is for you not only to discover the diversity of the continent of Africa, but also to experience different ethnic groups and cultures.  And it is virtually impossible for us to know all of them and we hope that by meeting different people from various part of the continent will enlightened you more about African cultures.

African Cultural Resources Center (ACRC) is committed to enriching individual and community life through programs that explore and preserve the heritage and traditions of the African Continent.  Viva Africa Arts Exhibition, our first event in partnership with AYS, Inc in 2004, was a great success.  Please visit www.africartsgallery.com to discover original arts from African artists.  We are looking forward to our participation in the Indy International Festival and always in search of sharing our cultures and learning about others.

By attending or sponsoring our events, you help us in promoting quality arts and cultural education in the community - thank you!  if you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me at dabrice@afrikculture.org.

We look forward to serving our diverse communities with arts and cultural education programming and diversity awareness activities in our communities.

Come back to see us!
